Lau nominated for Spirit of Scotland AwardFrom the organisers of the Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland Award:

The Awards mark the incredible achievements of the individuals who inspire our nation through their contributions to Scottish cultural life in all its guises. The Awards provide a focus to encourage the celebration of Saint Andrews Day – the perfect opportunity to commemorate all that’s great about Scotland. The Awards Ceremony is televised by STV and will be broadcast on St Andrews night. There are 8 categories in total, covering food, screen, writing, environment, music, sport, entrepreneur and art.

Details of the categories and nominees are published in The Scotsman Magazine, and will appear each Saturday during the run up to the awards. Readers are invited to vote for their preferred winner either by telephone hotlines or via the Awards website www.glenfiddich.com/spirit.
